This is a tutorial on how to display Windows 7 time and date systray on your Windows XP.
For this we need to use a third-party utility TClock and of course it is FREE.
  1. Download the zip archive here and extract it.
  2. Run tclock.exe
  3. Right click and go to TClock Properties
  4. Clock > Size and Font then select Segoe UI,size 9 or whatever that suit your need.
  5. Clock > Format then check Customize format and write down this hh:nn\nmm.dd.yy which is \n for the line break.
  6. Then apply it.

Now you will get a Windows 7 systray Time & Date display on your XP machine. :D

Nice job. :)

If you like, you can add following link in tutorial which teaches you how you can customize these strings to show day, month, year names and other things. It works in all Windows versions.
